A Progressive
Learning Journey

BC Curriculum meets the living world

At Ocean Crest Academy, all courses meet BC Ministry of Education requirements and students work toward the Dogwood Diploma through our partner school. What sets OCA apart is how that curriculum comes alive — in the field, on the water, and in the mountains.

Each grade has a theme and developmental focus, building toward the Sea to Summit Capstone in Grade 12. Students move through a journey that deepens their academic understanding, outdoor skills, and leadership capacity year by year.

  • BC Dogwood Diploma through our partner school
  • Strong academic foundations for post-secondary pathways
  • Outdoor leadership certifications (Wilderness First Aid, paddling)
  • Experience in research, conservation, and community projects
  • Confidence, resilience, and a clear sense of purpose
